Choosing the flavours for your wedding cake is one of the most enjoyable parts of the process, so I’ve created my Wedding Cake Sample Box to allow you to sample a selection of my most popular flavours from the comfort of your own home.
The sample box is ideal if you are considering booking your wedding cake and would like to experience my flavours before securing your wedding date. It gives you the opportunity to discover your favourites at home, at a time that suits you.
Whilst the sample box is a lovely way to begin your cake journey, I always recommend a face-to-face consultation and tasting. This gives us the opportunity to meet, discuss your plans and ideas in detail, look at designs and finishes, and of course taste the cakes together. It is a much more personal experience and allows me to understand exactly what you are looking for in your wedding cake. It also allows me to talk through ingredients and allergies.
If you have already booked your wedding cake with me, the sample box is also a wonderful way to revisit the flavours and decide on your final combination before your wedding day.
Your sample box will include:
Vanilla
A light vanilla sponge made with Madagascan vanilla bean extract, paired with creamy vanilla bean buttercream.
Lemon
A light, zesty lemon sponge, drizzled with lemon syrup and paired with delicious lemon curd buttercream.
Chocolate
A rich, dense chocolate cake made with Belgian dark chocolate and organic cocoa powder, paired with chocolate buttercream.
Carrot
A moist, flavour-packed carrot cake incorporating sultanas, coconut, orange and warming spices, paired with zesty orange buttercream.
Sticky Toffee
A rich cake made with dark muscovado sugar and dates, paired with indulgent salted caramel buttercream.
White Chocolate Mud
A deliciously dense and moist white chocolate cake made with Belgian white chocolate, paired with smooth white chocolate buttercream.
October Sample Box
The next sample boxes will be freshly baked and posted on:
Friday 2nd October 2026
Orders will close once this month’s allocation of boxes has sold out or on the closing date of Tuesday 29th September.
Your box will be carefully packaged and posted using a tracked postal service. Please ensure that you will be available to receive your parcel shortly after the postal date.
A few important things to know
All cakes are freshly baked to order in my West Oxfordshire studio using carefully selected, quality ingredients.
Cake samples are individually wrapped to help maintain their freshness during postage. Once received, they should be stored appropriately and enjoyed as soon as possible for the best flavour and texture.
Please note that the photographs are for illustrative purposes and the presentation of your box may vary slightly.
Allergies & dietary requirements
Please read this information carefully before ordering.
Typically the cake samples will contain allergens of gluten, eggs, sulphites, milk/dairy and may contain traces of nuts and soya.
Some of my wedding cake flavours can be made as gluten-free alternatives; however, the flavours included in the sample box are made using my standard recipes and gluten-free samples cannot be substituted.
Unfortunately, I am unable to provide vegan or dairy-free samples for posting.
If you have an allergy or intolerance, please contact me before ordering so that I can advise whether the sample box is suitable for you.
Sample Box Terms & Conditions
By placing an order for a Wedding Cake Sample Box, you agree to the following:
- Sample boxes are made to order and are available only for the advertised postal date.
- Orders must be placed before the stated closing date or until the available allocation has sold out, whichever comes first.
- The flavours included in each sample box are as advertised and cannot be exchanged or substituted.
- Due to the perishable nature of the cakes, sample boxes cannot be returned once dispatched.
- Please ensure that the delivery address supplied at checkout is correct. I cannot be held responsible for parcels sent to an incorrect address supplied by the customer.
- Whilst every care is taken with packaging and dispatch, I cannot be held responsible for delays or damage caused by the postal service after the parcel has been dispatched.
- A signature may be required upon delivery, so please ensure someone is available to receive the parcel.
- Cakes are freshly made and have a limited shelf life. Storage and consumption instructions will be provided with your box.
- Allergen information is provided in good faith, but customers with serious allergies should contact me before ordering.
- Purchasing a sample box does not constitute a booking for a wedding cake. Wedding cake availability and bookings are subject to a separate quotation and booking process.
