I just wanted to thank you for the cake you made for our wedding on 29th May 2010.  We are so grateful for you having been able to make our cake at such short notice.  The look of the cake exceeded our expectations - it was so lovely to see it for the first time at the front of the hall when we arrived for our reception.  The colours and the sugar flowers went so well with my bouquet - just as I had imagined.  The sponge layers were exquisite - the chocolate went down so well with our guests, and I particularly liked the gluten-free lemon sponge layer, the majority of which we kept back to enjoy ourselves at home!  And the sponges stayed fresh for quite a few days which was a bonus - we didn't want to ever finish eating the cake!!

• A quick note to say thank you soooooo much for the most fantastic cake Mark has ever had in his whole entire life - all 40 years of it!!  The U2 boys looked fabulous - far too good to eat - we have decided to keep them instead!  They lifted beautifully off the top of the cake and now have pride of place in our dining room cabinet!  The cake itself was absolutely delicious.  The sponge was moist, light and fluffy with deliciously thick, gooey butter cream icing in the middle and all topped with a very generous covering of  icing.  All of our friends and family were amazed by his birthday cake and wanted to know where I had found such a unique and personal cake to celebrate his special day.  I have passed on your details to quite a few of them already! Thanks again for all the hours of research and effort you put into designing and creating Mark's perfect cake, you really helped to make it "A Beautiful Day".- Miss Rebecca Waterman
